Terms of use for Getter.
These terms govern use of the Getter app. They cover acceptable use, health disclaimers, ownership, and liability.

Welcome to Getter
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Getter mobile application. By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Your agreement with Getter
By using Getter, you confirm that:
- You have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
- You are at least 18 years old, or you have obtained permission from a parent or guardian where required.
- You will use the app in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
2. Using the app
Getter provides calorie tracking, meal logging, and related product features focused on simplicity and privacy.
- The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and the data stored on it.
- You agree not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to exploit the app or its supporting systems.
3. Health and wellness disclaimer
Getter provides general fitness and nutrition information. It is not medical advice and does not replace diagnosis or treatment from qualified professionals.
- Consult a healthcare professional before starting a new diet or exercise plan.
- Individual results vary. Getter does not guarantee specific outcomes.
- You use any guidance from the app at your own discretion and risk.
4. Your content and data
- You retain rights to the personal data you enter into Getter, whether stored locally or in your encrypted backup.
- You agree not to submit unlawful, harmful, or otherwise objectionable content.
- Getter may use anonymized and aggregated data only to improve the product and supporting services.
5. Intellectual property
- The app, brand assets, and supporting materials are owned by Getter or its licensors.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or commercially exploit any part of the app without prior written permission.
- Reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code is not permitted except where required by law.
6. Limitation of liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Getter is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app.
- Total liability for claims under these terms will not exceed the amount you paid for the app, if any.
- Getter is not responsible for injuries, health issues, or losses resulting from reliance on app guidance.
7. Third-party services
Getter may interact with third-party services for specific functions such as AI analysis, analytics, or crash reporting.
- Personally identifiable information is not intentionally shared with AI models.
- Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Changes to access
Getter may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached, or when necessary to protect the app, its infrastructure, or other users.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in Dubai, without regard to conflict of law rules.
10. Updates to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Getter after an update means you accept the revised terms.
